This is one of Fendi’s iconic beaded Baguettes. What makes it so valuable is the incredible craftsmanship—every single bead is applied by hand using traditional French embroidery techniques. It takes a single artisan about two weeks to complete just one bag. Today, most beadwork is done by machine, and the result simply doesn’t have the same character or artistry as true hand embroidery. Fendi has always been committed to preserving and showcasing exceptional craftsmanship, and that’s something I truly admire.
